The homeowners wanted to transform their outdoor living experience while preserving the character of their oceanfront property.
The project included a custom swimming pool, extensive patio and retaining wall construction, and a custom fireplace designed to match the home’s existing architecture. Because of the property’s location and environmental restrictions, careful planning and coordination were required throughout every phase of construction.
Working closely with the homeowners, Southern Elegance Pools successfully delivered a beautiful outdoor retreat while maintaining the integrity of the property and staying true to the original vision.

Erin and I wanted to take a moment to share our wonderful experience with the team at Southern Elegance. From our first meeting with Jason and John until our project was complete, Southern Elegance handled our project professionally and with a consistent eye for detail.
Southern Elegance designed and built our ocean side pool, all new ‘extensive’ patios and patio walls and a beautiful chimney/fireplace to match an existing chimney on the front side of the house. The project(s) were not easy as our house is one of the older houses left on Ponte Vedra Blvd and a property that comes with many environmental restrictions. At each step along the way, Southern Elegance navigated these issues and took the stress away from us, the owners.
Best of all the entire project came in right inline with our original estimate. We always felt the team at Southern Elegance had our interests first and foremost and they kept all their very solid subcontractors on time and on budget.
Although Ashley, Jenn and John were all terrific to work with, a special shoutout goes to Jason Winter who managed the project and many times went above and beyond his scope to make things go smoothly. Especially given the fact that we were not on the property much of the time – Jason took great care in making sure our house was safe at all times. He is wonderful to work with.
