This is when our crew comes out to remove any grass from the pool and deck area and then level the ground. We call this the pre-grade. Once the area is graded, the crew will use stakes and lumber to “form” the shape of your new pool.

This is when our excavation crew will give your pool its basic shape by digging and there will be a lot of dirt and some plumbing. Once the digging is done, another crew will be out to form a rigid, contoured grid of reinforcing steel rebar to create the “backbone” of your swimming pool.

After inspectors double check our work, we’re ready to spray your concrete pool shell! The crew will shoot the concrete around your pool’s steel reinforcement grid. You will also now see your steps, sun shelf, swimout, and benches.

Your tile will be hand-laid and carefully grouted near the top of the pool beam by our skilled craftsmen.This creates the water line of the pool. We will also complete the plumbing of your pool, in other words, you will see trenches and a lot of “Schedule 40” PVC pipe. All the connections are solidly bonded and the entire plumbing system is hydrostatically pressure tested.

At this point in your project, our licensed electrical contractor will carefully make all of the electrical connections for your pool lights, pump, and any other equipment, and also set a new electrical subpanel outside near the pool equipment.

We’ll start by installing the coping pieces on top of the pool shell. After that, a crushed concrete bedding material will be spread, and then the paver stones you selected will be laid.

At this time we will check that your safety items are in place such as a fence/gate, child safety fence, on deck pool alarms, etc…When the Safety Inspection is passed the prep crew will come in and clean the shell of the pool and install the color matched fittings on any pipes entering the pool shell. Once the prep is complete, craftsmen will come in and hand apply your interior finish to the pool. Once the finish is installed, your pool will again be left to cure overnight. Then the following day a mild acid wash will be performed to remove any excess plaster, exposing the pebble in the finish and make its appearance more consistent. The acid wash crew will then begin filling the pool with WATER!

Get ready to swim! For 4 weeks we’ll balance the chemicals in your water, complete any punch out items that may be left, and obtain final inspections so you can enjoy your new pool! We also include a Pool School to make sure you’re educated on how to enjoy your pool for years to come.
